SRP Global fabricates transformer laminations from CRGO (cold-rolled grain-oriented) electrical steel at our plant in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India, supplying transformer and switchgear manufacturers in India and the GCC.
We're not asking to be your primary source on day one. Qualify us with a trial order or a toll-processing run — judge the edge on your own bench, and we'll earn share by performing.
Two low-risk ways to test our cutting before you commit a purchase order.
Send your drawing — we cut sample laminations to it, terms agreed per enquiry. Check the burr and edge quality on your own incoming inspection.
You supply the coil, we cut to your drawing. You keep control of the material and only our workmanship is on trial.
Short runs and one-off drawings the large mills won't take — turnaround quoted per job.
Select a grade to view its standard thickness and typical application. Grade designations follow IS / IEC / ASTM nomenclature. Core loss and magnetic properties for each consignment are stated on the steel mill's test certificate, which accompanies every supply.
CONVENTIONAL GRAIN-ORIENTED (CGO)
HIGH-PERMEABILITY
| Class | Grade | Standard thickness | Typical application |
|---|---|---|---|
| Conventional CGO | M3 | 0.23 mm | High-efficiency distribution transformers |
| Conventional CGO | M4 | 0.27 mm | Distribution transformers |
| Conventional CGO | M5 | 0.30 mm | Standard transformer cores |
| High-permeability | Hi-B (e.g. 23ZH90) | 0.23 mm | Low-loss power & distribution cores |
Grades stocked at any given time vary with mill supply — availability is confirmed at enquiry. Domain-refined / laser-scribed material is handled on indent against confirmed project requirements only.
Laminations are fabricated to customer drawings. Dimensional ranges and tolerances are confirmed against your specific drawing at enquiry — what we commit to on your drawing is what we hold.
45° mitred limb–yoke joints cut to your core design.
Step-lap joint configurations to your drawing.
Coil slit to your required strip widths.
V-notches and bolt holes per drawing.
Every written quotation states, explicitly: minimum order quantity, price and its validity period, lead time, payment terms, Incoterms (e.g. FOB Indian port / CIF Jebel Ali), and packing specification. If it isn't in the quotation, it isn't part of the deal — in either direction.
The mill makes the steel; cutting determines whether its properties survive. Burrs, edge stress and joint quality all show up later as no-load loss and core noise. Our controlled values for burr height, stacking factor and joint gap are stated in writing in every quotation — and are verifiable on your incoming inspection.
Passed through with every consignment, stating the steel maker's tested values — your material is traceable to its source coil.
Burr height, stacking factor and joint quality figures are put in writing per order — so what you accept is what was promised.
Material handled to minimise edge damage and stress, which affect core performance.
Click each stage of the route. Timelines shown are indicative only, vary with carrier schedules, and are confirmed in writing at quotation.
Indicative door-to-door transit, Meerut to Dubai: typically 2–3 weeks, subject to carrier schedules and customs clearance. Confirmed at quotation.
Share your grade, dimensions and monthly quantity — we will respond with a written quotation.
